Who We Are
Quality and Metrology Society, Inc. (QMSI) is a dedicated organization that brings together professionals involved in quality assurance and metrology established to foster a culture of excellence. QMSI aims to enhance the standards of quality and accuracy in various industries.
Founded in 1980 as the Quality and Metrology Society, QMSI is a not-for-profit professional organization that enables collaboration, knowledge sharing, and skill development across all quality and metrology disciplines, while promoting the vital role of the metrologist in society. QMSI formed QUALIMETS Training and Consultancy, a new for-profit to house business ventures that will bring new innovative products, services and technologies to the quality and metrology community.

Course Not Listed?
Any person or organization seeking training offered by QMSI, that is not listed in the QMSI Training Schedule above in either the time or place needed, should contact the QMSI Training Program staff at QMSI training@gmail.com. We will do our best to meet your needs.
Limit of QMSI Liability in the event of In-class Course Cancellation or Postponement
QMSI liability for a course cancelled or postponed by QMSI is restricted to the cost of the course charged by QMSI. QMSI will not be liable for any costs incurred by a trainee participant from their own transportation and/or accommodation bookings, even when QMSI cancels or postpones a course. QMSI does not support the use of non-refundable travel fares or hotel reservations.
Should a participant incur change fees for travel or accommodation, as a result of QMSI cancelling or postponing a training course, QMSI will examine each case individually and will base its decision to cover such costs on participant trainee adherence to the condition in bold underlined font above (no non-refundable travel fares or accommodations). In the event that QMSI agrees to cover such costs, they shall only be for the change fees to allow the participant to attend a postponed course.
Electronic or Paper?
QMSI Training Materials can be made available in electronic or paper copies to participants, depending on individual needs. If we host the course, we will provide paper copies. If the course is hosted by another organization, they will provide paper copies.
QMSI Certificates are always provided electronically. QMSI can print paper copies, on request, depending on individual needs
